Who We Are 

Between Jobs Ministry (BJM) is a Christ-centered job support ministry that has faithfully served the community since 1994. Located at Northwest Bible Church in Spring, Texas, BJM is a unique space where those navigating unemployment, career transitions, or job uncertainty can find both practical guidance and spiritual encouragement. 

We believe that every person, regardless of their employment status, has inherent value and a God-given purpose. Our ministry exists to remind people that their identity is not found in their job title but in Christ, and that their future is still full of promise. 
 

Our Mission 

To empower, equip, and encourage individuals who are currently between jobs by offering Christ-centered support, professional development tools, and a compassionate community. 

We walk alongside our participants, combining faith-based encouragement with career readiness training, helping them move forward with clarity, confidence, and a renewed sense of purpose.

What We Offer 

BJM is a fully volunteer-driven ministry that provides a comprehensive support system for job seekers, including: 

Weekly Meetings with Guest Speakers 

Each Wednesday morning, BJM hosts dynamic speakers who offer insights on everything from job search strategies to spiritual resilience. These sessions are practical, inspiring, and always Christ-focused. 
 

Career Coaching & Networking 

Our volunteers offer one-on-one guidance in areas like job searching, interview prep, professional development, and more. Attendees also have the opportunity to network with fellow job seekers and Christian professionals. 

Free Professional Headshots 

We offer complimentary professional headshots that job seekers can use on LinkedIn or resumes to help make a strong first impression. 

Résumé Assistance 

Get help writing, reviewing, and improving your résumé from experienced volunteers who understand what employers are looking for. 

Devotionals & Christianity Classes 

Because spiritual encouragement is just as important as employment support, we offer weekly devotionals, optional prayer time, and Bible-based classes for those interested in deepening their faith. 
 

Resource Room 

Our campus includes a quiet workspace equipped with internet-connected computers, printing capabilities, and job-hunting resources available during and after meetings. 

 

When & Where We Meet 

BJM gathers every Wednesday morning at Northwest Bible Church, conveniently located in Spring, TX. 

• In-person registration starts at 8:30 AM 
   

• Programming begins shortly after and runs until around 12:00 PM 
   

• No pre-registration is required — just show up, dressed for success and ready to grow! 
   

We recommend bringing: 

• A printed résumé 
   

• A notepad and pen 
   

• A positive, open mind
