BJM Program
Services
Networking
"Networking 101" emphasizes the importance of networking and provides insights into the process. Networking is the basis for success in finding the job you want. Although all First-timers should attend this session, all BJM participants are welcome. Come back to the session again as many times as you like, especially if it's been a while since you first attended, as it may help shorten your job search.
"Facilitated Networking" is a participative session to obtain new contacts and share your ideas with other BJM participants in an informal setting. Come prepared with your target companies to make this session even more valuable.
Resume Workshops
The resume writing and format workshop emphasizes what a resume should contain and how to structure it from the viewpoint of a hiring manager. You'll learn how to organize your resume to make it one of your major marketing tools. It is highly recommended for all BJM participants.
Practice Interviews
Practice your interview skills with BJM volunteers. Please sign-up before 10:30 in the Worship Center Lobby. Limited spots are available for same-day interviews. Please provide your mobile phone number, printed resume, and an ad or description of your desired job to prepare for your appointment.
One-on-One Counseling
Should you wish to have one-on-one counseling, please select your counselor and sign in in the counseling room. English and Spanish coaches are available.

Job search work teams, classes and speakers
A Job Search Work Team (JSWT) is a way to enhance and speed up your job search while helping other team members in the process.

In addition to the JSWTs, BJM offers a variety of other classes and Guest Speakers each week. The week-at-a-glance schedule is updated weekly with guest speakers and topics that will be discussed. Topics range from structuring your job search to LinkedIn classes, Restarting your job search, and more.

Additional BJM Resources
The Senior Leaders' Group meets weekly at 7:15 am with guest speakers. This group is open to all job seekers.

Additional services include Christianity classes, weekly devotionals, career counseling, professional headshots, Bilingual services, and a resource room available to all participants. The resource room is available Tuesday-Thursday from 10-4pm. Internet workstations are available for resumes, business cards, job search correspondence and research.
